The Speedglas 9100 outer protection plate is extra scratch-resistant as it has been designed to protect the filter from spark and spatter. These outer plates protect your Speedglas welding filter series 9100 from becoming scratched so you can remain safe when welding. It is important that you regularly clean your lenses with a soft cloth and replace your outer plate if it becomes damaged or too dirty to clean with soft cloth or lens wipe.
